Thursday, December 5th | 5-8 pm| in the East gym
(Friday is a PA day)
Essex and Hawthorne families mark your calendars and get ready for a fun night of holiday shopping and kid friendly French cinema!
Are you crafty? We are looking for vendors who would like the opportunity to show and sell their creations for the 2019 holiday season.
Are you a mom, pop, or youth-preneur (ages 11 and up)? We are looking for you!
Whether you have an established business or a grass roots pop up, this winter crafts market will help boost your holiday sales and provide an opportunity to showcase your amazing creations.
We’ll provide the table and you keep all your profits!
All we ask is that your home made signage be bilingual and that you attempt to use some French when selling your wares.
We’ll help by providing some print outs with easy conversational French expressions relating to buying & selling goods.
There is no pressure to be a French speaker; any level of French is welcome. We will all learn from one another and have a blast.
Please contact Cyndi Cornblit firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in vending and would like to request a table. You will need to provide a picture of your product as well as price point. This will help with floor planning and advertising the event. Deadline for submissions is Wednesday, November 20th.
Are you ready for the best part… parents can shop Le Marché as their kids enjoy a pancake/pj movie night in the adjacent gym! We will transform half the gym into a Cinéma and show a French or French subtitled film.
Please note that if we do not get enough vendor submissions from our school community we may simply have a larger pj/pancake French movie night. Either way we are hoping for a fun bilingual night for Essex and Hawthorne families to enjoy before the winter break.
Love the idea and want to help out? Please contact Tania email@example.com if you would like to volunteer to set up
(3-6 pm ) or clean up (6-8 pm). Tania will also be looking for pancake donations closer to the event date.
Hope to see you all there…
