A note from Jim and Sonia Re: Poppies and the Remembrance Day Assembly

Dear Parents/Guardians:

We will be having our Remembrance Day Assembly on Monday, November 11th.  Each child will be given a poppy to wear.  We would appreciate it if your child could bring a small donation. The money collected will be sent to the Royal Canadian Legion.

Thank you so much in advance.

A note from Joan re: Lost and Found

The lost and found is located on the first floor just beside the W. end of the E. Gym.  Signs and arrows have been posted to direct the way.  Please take a minute to come and have a look, you may even find some lost treasures.

 Thank you.

Hawthorne ID Tags to be Worn in School

Please pick up a green or yellow tag from Joan’s office. These tags are to be worn in the school when we pick up or drop off our children. They are for identification/safety purposes, so that parents/teachers/admin can identify adults that are meant to be in the school. Also, if you have any extra tags from previous years, please return them to Joan. Thanks very much!
